Applied to industry, process automation is the discipline by which the operation of various computerized, electromechanical, electropneumatic and electrohydraulic elements or systems is coordinated to in order to execute and\/or supervise an industrial process. As an engineering discipline broader than a control system, it encompasses industrial instrumentation, which includes field sensors and transmitters, control and monitoring systems, communication networks, and real-time software applications necessary to guarantee the correct execution of the process, taking into account points of view as diverse as the quality of the final product, the efficiency of the process or safety in all its aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since our founding in 1993 we have had automation experts on our staff, both at the engineering and field work level, and that experience has only increased in this time with the evolution of the industry from the common systems of that time, in some cases almost completely mechanical, to the latest evolutions of the industry with decentralized field networks, 24×7 remote management possibilities and advanced data mining and decision-making support systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
